Rare Organic Materials
In the high altitudes of Tibet, the Yak is a sacred symbol of strength. We use only the Yak Brow Bone—the densest part of the skull—distinguished by its unique honeycomb marrow structure. This natural vascular texture allows the beads to absorb your skin’s natural oils, gradually transforming from raw ivory to a translucent, antique luster.
Complementing this is the Alashan Camel Bone, hand-selected for its “Yellow-Jade” quality. These beads carry a weighty, premium feel that only nature can provide through decades of aging.
The “Duo Bao” Aesthetic: Harmony in Diversity
Unlike uniform strands, our “Multi-Treasure” design follows the ancient aesthetic of “Ordered Chaos.” * Graduated Rhythms: Beads flow from 8mm to 14mm, creating a rhythmic visual balance.
-
Sacred Anchors: Centered by a magnificent 20mm Carved Pattern Bead, symbolizing the cycle of life.
-
Hand-Woven Protection: Featuring traditional Tibetan knots, a Brass “Back-Cloud” (Bei Yun), and a Yak Bone “Peace Shield” pendant.
Embrace the Wabi-Sabi: Beauty in Authenticity
Because we use raw, eco-friendly organic bone, each Mala is a unique fingerprint of the earth. You may notice subtle growth lines, natural pores (pits), or varying shades of cream and gold. These are not flaws—they are proof of life. Like a fine leather heirloom, this Mala will “age” with you, reflecting your personal experiences through its deepening patina.

Your Patina Journey Timeline:
-
The First 2 Months: Handle the beads with clean hands. You will quickly notice a light foundational patina forming. (Tip: For barrel-shaped beads, remember to gently rub the flat sides as well!)
-
The “Tacky” Phase: As the bone absorbs your natural oils, the surface might occasionally feel slightly sticky. When this happens, simply buff the beads with a dry cotton cloth or cotton gloves until they feel smooth again.
-
Porcelain Glaze (挂瓷): The surface will begin to harden and become highly reflective, resembling a smooth porcelain glaze.
-
Jade-ification (玉化): Over long-term wear, the true magic happens. The beads will become increasingly clear and translucent, achieving a highly prized, warm “jade-like” depth.
Care & Wisdom
Bone is a porous, living material. To develop the finest patina, wear your Mala daily. It thrives on the natural oils of your skin. Avoid prolonged exposure to water or extreme dryness.
“Your Mala is a mirror of your journey; let it grow older and wiser with you.”
